“Lamrof” and “Good Karma Development (GOOD KARMA DEVELOPMENT)〉have teamed up for their first collaboration to create a bomber jacket.

First and foremost, let’s talk about the materials. We’ve generously used the finest Australian suede mouton, blending the raw, rugged texture characteristic of Good Karma Development with the elegant sensibility that Lambrof is known for.

Mouton is a material that becomes softer the more you wear it, and its character—including how it stretches and develops a patina—evolves over time. It’s best to choose a size based on your personal preference. Enjoy watching it mold to your body.

The design is based on a vintage MA-1 jacket. The distinctive rounded silhouette and ribbed detailing pay homage to the original, while boldly incorporating the natural edges and the unique texture of shearling—hallmarks of *Good Karma Development*.

Please take a closer look at the details. The sleeves, hem, front, arm pocket flaps, and back feature raw-edge finishes that showcase the natural leather edges. Thanks to the topstitching on the outer surface, the fleece lining is visible on the outside—from the shoulders and sleeve seams to the side seams—giving each piece its own unique character. The hem, in particular, presented a major challenge during production, featuring a complex construction where raw leather edges are layered over the ribbing. This design preserves the characteristic rounded silhouette of the MA-1 while highlighting the presence of the shearling.

You might be surprised by the price—which reflects the intricate craftsmanship—but it makes perfect sense once you learn it’s reversible. The front side lets you enjoy the rich, substantial feel of shearling, while the reverse side features a full-length pile, giving it a distinctly wintry look. The pocket design, accessible from both sides, and the WALDES No. 10 reversible zipper are subtle yet striking details.

Incidentally, the product name “SYLVESTER” comes from Sylvester Stewart, the real name of Sly Stone, who led the San Francisco band “Sly & The Family Stone.” Mr. Sakamoto of Rumlof has long been influenced by their music and style, so he decided to borrow the name.
