"USM Haller" is a furniture system that allows you to continue using it while freely customizing it by rearranging its parts using a modular system.
Fuinam is pleased to announce that it will be hosting an event titled “The Moving Library – Carrying Today into Tomorrow” in collaboration with “Stacks Bookstore,” a well-known bookstore in Kanda Jimbocho.
A library space will be set up at the venue using the modular system, where visitors can freely pick up books and enjoy reading. In addition, a photo studio will be set up on-site, and photographer Yumi Saito will be on hand to take commemorative photos.
The themes are “using things for a long time” and “preserving memories.”
The "USM Haller" is designed to adapt to changes in lifestyle and environment while remaining in use for decades, embodying a philosophy of long-term use.
And the knowledge, emotions, and values contained in books remain with people forever. Then there is photography—a medium that preserves a single moment for the future.
Furniture, books, and photographs. This event brings together these three elements—each of which transcends time in its own way.
