A thrilling collaboration this winter. Haiku has updated Eddie Bauer’s iconic designs and unveiled a collection of nine styles.

Is it just my imagination, or do there seem to be more major collaborations this year than ever before?

I have a feeling this collaboration, in particular, will be talked about for years to come. The collection from 〈Eddie Bauer〉 and 〈HYKE〉 has been unveiled.

Eddie Bauer is an American outdoor lifestyle brand founded in 1920. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s archives, added its own design touches to create these items.

Let me introduce them one by one.

SKYLINER HYKE Edition ¥81,400

FAUX SHEARLING SKYLINER HYKE Edition ¥84,700

The “SKYLINER,” an iconic model from , was the world’s first down jacket, introduced in 1936. Founder Eddie Bauer recognized the exceptional insulating properties of down and developed the “SKYLINER” with a diamond-shaped quilting design to prevent the down from shifting.

We’ve updated this item—which could be called our origin—with a original pattern. The fabric is “DICROS MAURI” from “DAIICHI ORIMONO.” Although it is 100% polyester (%), a rubbing process applied during dyeing gives it a natural, cotton-like texture. It features high-quality 700-fill-power down and is characterized by its water-repellent properties and resistance to wrinkles.

In addition to basic down jackets, our lineup includes two stylish down jacket styles featuring faux fur with a curly, sheep-like texture on the sleeves.

CANADIAN VEST HYKE Edition ¥55,000

The “CANADIAN VEST” has been one of the longest-running models in the Eddie Bauer down vest lineup since 1953. Its design features a checkered quilted pattern, a knit collar that’s easy to layer, and a waistcoat-style hem. The materials and finish are the same as those used in the “SKYLINER HYKE Edition.” It features a relaxed fit based on a original pattern.

KARA KORAM HYKE Edition ¥106,700

The “KARA KORAM” is a mountaineering down parka developed in 1953 for an American expedition aiming to make the first ascent of K2. It was the first model created in collaboration with mountaineers to provide warmth and durability in cold climates, and it was adopted for numerous expeditions over the next 30 years. It is truly an item that epitomizes Eddie Bauer’s craftsmanship and innovation.

The materials and construction are the same as those of the “SKYLINER HYKE Edition.” It features a relaxed fit based on a HYKE original pattern.

The sweatshirts featured in the “Haiku” inline collection are characterized by a sweatband at the back of the neck. For this special release, we’ve added an embroidered “Eddie Bauer” message. Incidentally, the phrase “To inspire, enable, and empower everyone to experience the outdoors and live their adventure” is embroidered on the shirt.

The sweatpants and long-sleeve T-shirts feature the same design.

DOWN CAP HYKE Edition ¥24,200

This down cap was designed for those who venture into extremely cold environments for activities such as hunting, fishing, and mountain climbing. It’s made with the same materials and construction as our down jackets, and the interior features faux fur with a curly texture reminiscent of sheep’s fur. The ear flaps can be raised or lowered, allowing you to adjust them to suit the temperature or your style.

NEW ERA 9THIRTY Eddie Bauer × HYKE Edition Gender ¥9,680

A triple collaboration between , , and has come to fruition. has embroidered the “Eddie Bauer” message onto ’s “9THIRTY™” model.

〈Eddie Bauer〉’s iconic model, which the brand has upheld for many years, has been given a sophisticated new look with the addition of 〈Hike〉’s refined aesthetic. It is already available in the online store. Availability at other locations may vary, so please contact the store directly for details.
