A Swiss brand famous for its bags and shoes made of the highest quality leather.Bally. has teamed up with British street artist SHOK-1 for a capsule collection. The collaboration was brought to fruition by Swizz Beatz, a Grammy Award-winning music producer and entrepreneur who is also active internationally!
In the 80's, wearing items from "Bally" was a kind of longing in the hip-hop culture. SHOK-1, which has led the street art culture with its technique of using X-rays of icons popular at the time to create works of art, was a natural choice for a collaboration partner.
SHOK-1, a scientist with a degree in applied chemistry, has incorporated three key icons from his past work into the collection: x-rayed hand signs, insects, and "The Consumer," inspired by 80's video games, into one elegant-looking leather product . The collection has a hook. The collection is close to the mood of today, when there are whispers of a harmony between street fashion and luxury.
In addition to bags and shoes, polo shirts and other clothing are also available.
In conjunction with the launch of the collection, SHOK-1's first solo exhibition in Japan will be held on the second floor of BALLY Ginza today, October 11 (Thu)!
