~STORY~.
Firefighter Ja Hong (Cha Tae Hyun), who died a spectacular martyr's death after saving a young girl at a fire scene, is greeted by three messengers from the underworld, Kang Nim (Ha Jung Woo), Haewon Maek (Joo Ji Hoon) and Dok Choon (Kim Hyang Gi), who tell him that "when one becomes a deceased person, one must undergo trials in seven different hells within 49 days. He tells them the rule: "When a person becomes a departed soul, he or she must undergo trials in seven hells within 49 days. Only those who pass all of the trials without conviction will be reborn in this world. Led by three messengers, Ja- Hong is forced to visit the seven hells of murder, laziness, lying, injustice, treachery, violence, and adultery. An epic battle ensues involving the underworld and the lower worlds!
