Beauty and ugliness in relation to photography varies from person to person and from generation to generation . It is infinitely diverse. Especially in the field of fashion photography, the good and bad aspects change with the times.
The exhibit presented here, "LOOKIN THROUGH THE WINDOW," focuses on the differences.
The exhibition features fashion photos taken by leading photographers of each generation under the same theme, using only their own senses. The participating artists include Masumi Ishida in his 20s, Jiro Konami in his 30s, and Taro Mizutani in his 40s, all of whom are popular figures in today's fashion magazines.
Normally, these photographers are constrained by all kinds of restrictions, but they have removed those restrictions and thoroughly pursued their masterpieces.
The supporting cast is also impressive. The director is Mr. Kunichi Nomura, planning is by Ms. Toshiko Nakajima, former editor-in-chief of "GINZA" magazine, and the art director is Mr. Noriteru Minesaki, who has worked on numerous magazines and photo books.
In this age of social networking, the value of fashion photography is changing, but their work is not affected by this change. Their work is simply powerful. Please visit them.
