Leading the Tokyo street sceneF-LAGSTUF-Fis a select store in LondonGOODHOOD.The pop-up store will be held from January 15 (Wed.) for the second time since 2018. This time, the store will feature a triple collaboration with collage artist Kosuke Kawamura. Expectations are high.
Ukiyoe and Shunga are used for the graphics, which reflect a strong Japanese flavor. Kawamura brings new life to these motifs that have been handed down since the Edo period. The main logo "GOODSTUFF" is designed in Kawamura's signature shredder collage technique. There will be a total of six items: swing tops, rayon shirts, long T-shirts, T-shirts, and socks.
The image visuals, shot exclusively for this collaboration, feature models from Kumagaya, Saitama Prefecture, artists Likutatsu Makarosai a.k.a. BAD SAI KUSH and DELTA 9 KID. The power of this work is unbelievable. The selection of the models is a perfect match with Mr. Kawamura's graphics.
On January 15, the first day of the pop-up store, a live collage event by Kawamura will be held. Since it is outside of Japan, it is hard to casually say, "Why don't you go? However, it would be worth checking it out. However, Flagstaff's recent efforts overseas have been remarkable. As a representative of Japan's new generation of street brands, we will be keeping a close eye on their future trends.
