Away from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya, a bookstore appears in the direction of Yoyogi. Looking through the glass, you will see books and miscellaneous goods arranged in an orderly fashion. This is the "SPBS Main Store," a one-of-a-kind bookstore that is part of the Tokyo culture scene.

."Shibuya Publishing and Booksellers (SPBS)Since its establishment in 2007, "Bookstore" has been operating under the vision of "opening the door to the future of books and bookstores," so to speak, and is a comprehensive book and editorial company. With the aforementioned store in Oku-Shibuya as a base, the company has been slowly expanding its presence to Toyosu, Shibuya Scramble Air, and other locations in recent years.

They will open a new store, SPBS Toranomon, in Toranomon tomorrow, June 11 (Thursday). Why in the business district? Many of you may be thinking, "Why in a business district?

SPBS Toranomon" is a select bookstore edited to support the new daily lives of business people. The book space will be divided by keywords that symbolize the modern era, such as "virus," "remote work," and "AI," and stationery and sundries for use in the business world will be available for sale.

The lecture space, surrounded by white bookshelves, is unlike any other, and is filled with books that can hone one's sensitivity. Under the slogan "Every book is a teaching tool," SPBS plans to hold original lectures, "SPBS THE SCHOOL," as well as other events.
