The grand opening of the new MR. BROTHERS CUT CLUB store in River Valley, adjacent to Orchard, one of the largest shopping areas in Singapore, is the latest addition to the MR. BROTHERS CUT CLUB chain of barbershops located throughout Japan.
This is the second overseas location, following Los Angeles, and is marked by its exterior with theater-sign-style light boxes on planakan tiles (relief-style tiles), which are common in the local area.
The interior is inspired by Singapore's ethnicity as a nation of different nationalities, and is a one-floor, two-space structure that makes the most of its unique architecture.
The space has been uncompromisingly created based on the different concepts of "British" and "mid-century," fully expressing a new and unprecedented barber style.
Other details include hand-painted artwork by local artists scattered throughout the building and displays of various items symbolizing Japan and Singapore.
When you visit the restaurant, you should definitely check out every corner.
Mr. Brothers Cut Club" started with the Harajuku flagship store, which opened in 2015, and now has nine stores.
While carrying on the traditions of classical barber culture, the company's attitude of constantly challenging itself through its own unique filter explains why it is so popular around the world.
