Things that you don't know what they are used for but would want (i.e. art), etc.

Hibiya Park's Nireki Plaza was filled with colorful tent booths. The event included "Anonymous Camp," which has set up culture markets in various locations; "INDEPENDENT LABEL MARKET," the first indie label market in Japan; "MUSICIAN'S BOOKSTORE," a used book market where artists sell their own books; and the "CINRA.STORE Portrait Market," a portrait event. BOOKSTORE," a used book market selling books owned by artists, and the "CINRA.STORE Portrait Market," a portrait drawing event.

Artists are present at each booth. It is a great pleasure to be able to purchase original goods and one-of-a-kind works directly from the creators themselves. From T-shirts and other apparel items to miscellaneous goods and knick-knacks, there is an overflowing lineup of items (i.e., art) that you may not know what they are used for, but you will want to have them.

What caught the attention of many was "MUSICIAN'S BOOKSTORE Powered by Kyash," a used book market where artists sold books in their possession. Nine artists, including Aimyon, evening cinema, CHAI, Triple Fire, Boku no Ririkku no Boyomi, BOMI, Mono Bright, Motoki Yamaguchi, and LILI LIMIT, were selling their personal books with comments on them.

The booth area is organized by "Anonymous Camp," which organizes culture markets in various locations, organically changing its members like a circus troupe traveling from town to town to present culture that should be seen and experienced now, The booth area is a creative space where more than 20 craftsmen, illustrators, designers, photographers, editors, and other young "anonymous" talents gather in one place.

The "CINRA.STORE Portrait Market," a portrait event by "CINRA.STORE," a culture store operated by "CINRA," is also very popular. The event features special events such as having five illustrators draw a portrait of you all at the same time in three minutes.

A unique experiment in which five people draw a portrait of one person at the same time. In addition to the sale of sundries and artwork, the event also featured a "live manufacturing" session in which illustrators and others drew, embroidered, silk printed, and foil-stamped clothes, bags, and small items on canvas. Visitors were able to choose their own original design for the day with the creators and have it made right in front of them.

The "INDEPENDENT LABEL MARKET," which many of you have probably been waiting for, also made its first appearance in Asia on this day, and has been held since 2011 in London, Berlin, New York, Los Angeles, etc., and is known for exhibiting many famous overseas indie labels The market is known for exhibiting many famous indie labels from overseas. Dozens of companies, from well-known indie labels such as Rough Trade, Mute, XL, and Domino, to core labels known only to those in the know, will be participating. The early bird gets the worm, as there will be signed records, rare cassette recordings, artist and label goods, and other valuable collectibles that are not available anywhere else.

Taking pictures helps me fall in love with everyday life."

Taking place at the NEWTOWN STAGE located in the center of the venue were a live piano performance by singer-songwriter Masahiro Tanaka and a talk event with Mitsuru Takeshita, editor-in-chief of TWEEDEES and lifestyle magazine "THE DAY," titled "Adult School.

The "She is" x "lute" x Rinko Murata Insta-Talk," which drew the most attention, featured Yume Nomura, editor-in-chief of CINRA's first female media "She is," Hirohiko Igarashi, editor-in-chief of the video media "lute," and model Rinko Murata. With craft beer in hand, they engaged in a conversation about the differences between men's and women's media, their different strategies as new Internet media, and their different characters, as well as other topics related to modern SNS-based media.

Ms. Rinko Murata, who has about 260,000 followers on Instagram, gave tips on how to take great pictures, how to communicate through SNS, and her unique statement that "taking pictures makes you fall in love with your daily life. When asked by Ms. Igarashi, "What do you think should be done to increase the number of female fans of 'lute'? Igarashi responded in a realistic manner, "How about hiring female employees first? (Laughter)" was also a realistic response. The audience listened attentively amidst the rain and thunder, and I felt the "gravitational pull of the media and people.

At the "Awesome City Club x VROOM Special Talk & Live" event, atagi (Vo,Gt) and PORIN (Vo,Syn) of Awesome City Club took the stage to present a VR video of "ASAYAKE" produced in collaboration with the VR video content "VROOM. ASAYAKE" produced in collaboration with VR video content "VROM," an open interview about their latest activities, and an acoustic live performance by the two.

The "VROOM" booth, where visitors could view VR images of "ASAYAKE," was also exhibited at the venue. Visitors sat on a spherical chair "TELEPOD" with a built-in vibration device and woofer, and looked through a VR scope to experience a "live experience in a different space.

A space where the uncertain yet indispensable "culture" of human life is gathered.

Food booths are an essential part of the fun of outdoor events. At "Gourmet Street Food vol. 3," a gathering of various street foods, 17 food carts selling one-plate dishes, finger foods, sweets, and drinks from around the world will be set up.

A wide variety of food items are served in an unconventional kitchen style. Some use carefully selected ingredients, while others offer rare international recipes. The colorful food carts full of originality are also fun to look at.

The "NEWTOWN" exhibition was a great success, attracting 4,000 visitors over the two days, despite weather-related accidents, and will be held again in November on an even larger scale at a former elementary school site in Tama New Town.
In a space where the uncertain yet indispensable "culture" of human life is gathered, there was a place for the minds and bodies of various people. NEWTOWN" is probably free of residency. Why don't you go visit and let a part of yourself live there?
