Held again this year for everyone to enjoy fishing!

Daiwa, the world's leading Japanese fishing manufacturer, BEFORE YOU WAKE UP, a media magazine that proposes an affluent lifestyle inspired by fishing, and the Finamu Fishing Club are co-hosting the "Boogie Woogie Bakunsuri Mondai! Club, and we, the Huinamu Fishing Club, are co-hosting the "Boogie Woogie Bakunsuri Mondai! ("Bakumon" for short). One of the themes of the Huinamu Fishing Club is to connect with people from all walks of life through nature. Hui-Nam Fishing Club Director and Huinamu Editor-in-Chief, Ishii, says, "The club is a great way to connect with people from all walks of life through nature.

Ishii: Of course we want people to catch fish, but the purpose of the tournament is to share a good time with people who share the same hobby. Many people who get excited about fishing don't have a chance to go fishing together, so we want to use the tournament as an excuse to get together. It's a great opportunity to meet new people and have fun together.

The previous event was held at Lake Kameyama in Chiba Prefecture, and this second event will be held at Lake Sagami in Kanagawa Prefecture. Lake Sagami is one of the major lakes in the Kanto region, where bass fishing tournaments are held for professional anglers. To be honest, it is also famous for not being easy to catch. But when it is, it is huge! Apparently, Lake Sagami is rich in small fish that black bass feed on, such as wakasagi (smelt), lotus, and Japanese dace. So, it's big when you catch them, but it seems to be difficult to catch them because they have to be good at recognizing small fish and lures. The day before "Bakumon," they caught a number of 40-50 cm fish, so I have high hopes for their size.

We asked "Sobu Boat" to help us. Sagami Lake is only about an hour from Tokyo, but we recommend "Sobu Boat" because it is easy to access after getting off the highway and has boats that can be taken even if you do not have a marine license. The café attached to the boat has a reputation for delicious meals such as beef curry.

Participants gathered one after another at 5:00 in the morning. As in previous years, a wide variety of people gathered, from those who enjoy bass fishing on a regular basis to those who have little or no experience. One of the features of "Bakumon" is that various prizes are prepared so that all participants can enjoy the event.

The first prize is the "Daiwa Prize," which is awarded to the top three anglers based on the total length of the black bass caught. There is also a "BAKUMON Prize," where anglers can compete based on the number of black bass caught, regardless of size, making it easier for beginners to aim for prizes. In addition, there is a "BEFORE YOU WAKE UP Prize" that allows anglers to compete with other anglers in terms of size, even if they catch an outlier other than black bass. You WAKE UP Prize," so it doesn't matter how big or how many black bass you catch. The "Hui-Nam Fishing The "Hui-Nam Fishing Club Prize" will be awarded to the most fashionable participant, chosen at Hui-Nam's sole discretion, so fishing skills are not a factor. All prizes include luxurious Daiwa fishing tackle as prizes.

In addition, "Bakumon" long T-shirts, stickers, and Daiwa lures will be given away as participation prizes. The design of the T-shirt and sticker is by F-LAGSTUF-F, a well-known designer of the Hui-Nam Fishing Club. The long T-shirt and sticker were designed by F-LAGSTUF-F designer, Yasuyuki Murayama, who is a well-known member of the Huinamu Fishing Club.
