MIZ's Shukei Tamaki and Seijun Kato tour the 5th floor of the chaotic and geeky Shibuya Parco.

Tamaki: Just the other day, I went to Eva Fest (EVANGELION:30+) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the *Evangelion* series. So I was surprised to hear that we were going to this shop today. To be honest, I haven’t actually watched the anime all the way through yet…

Kato: Did you go to the festival even though you didn't watch it? (lol)

Tamaki: I wanted to take a friend who loves Evangelion with me. All the videos playing at the venue were so cool, and the “Radio Eva” fashion show was really impressive. I was completely captivated, and I plan to binge-watch the entire series now.

Kato: At first glance, the design doesn't look like Evangelion merchandise, so it seems like something you could easily wear every day. Fans are sure to love it.

Tamaki: I saw a model wearing this hoodie at a fashion show and thought it looked really cool. With so many different apparel options available, it looks like I could put together a full Evangelion outfit.

Kato: I've been an Asuka fan ever since I was in middle school.

Tamaki: There was a character I really like in one of the videos I saw at the festival. Um, I think it was... Mako.

Store staff: Is it Mari? (lol)

Tamaki: That's right, my apologies... I'm Mari. I'm still not very familiar with the details, so I'm sorry to the fans, but my first impression was that I really liked Mari.

Kato: It's amazing that it's been 30 years, isn't it? We were both born in 1993, so we're practically the same age.

Tamaki: Seeing so many fans going wild at the festival venue really made me realize once again just how beloved this series is. Also, all the Evangelion fans seemed like really nice people (lol).

Store staff: That's good to hear (lol)

Kato: With the new installment just being announced, it looks like Evangelion fever is about to heat up. It’s made me want to take this opportunity to rewatch the entire series from the beginning.

Tamaki: I’m planning to dive headfirst into Evangelion, so I want to learn all about the characters and the story before coming back here to shop. If I come to this store knowing all the details, I’m sure I’ll end up wanting everything.
