Skating, bicycles, and the new Oakley Meta—the things that Yuki Egawa loves more than anything.

Influenced by his father, Mr. Kono spent his childhood riding a skateboard as a matter of course. This place was like his home park—he visited it almost every day, immersing himself in perfecting his tricks. He says he hadn’t been coming here much lately, perhaps because he’d become so absorbed in cycling.

It had been a while since I’d visited the park, and I spotted a few familiar faces among the skaters. Even though I hadn’t seen them in a while, they casually asked, “What are you shooting today?”—I can’t help but envy the unique atmosphere of this skate culture.

As if to fill the gap, they glide through the park with light pushes and attempt flip tricks as if to check their body's feel.

"The first thing that surprised me was how well the 'HSTN' fits. It doesn't shift at all, even during intense jumps or the impact of landing. It provides a sense of stability that doesn't interfere with my performance, even during high-impact movements like skating."

In addition, Mr. Kumo was particularly impressed by the convenience unique to smart glasses—the ability to take photos hands-free.

"It feels refreshing to be able to capture photos and videos of those moments when I think, 'This is great,' while I'm skiing, without having to take out my phone. Being able to record that sense of realism from my own perspective is interesting from a creative standpoint, too."
