One of the outerwear pieces in the PLAS series, this field jacket is made from recycled nylon twill. Based on The North Face’s “Gotham Jacket”—a favorite in the harsh winters of New York—this piece has been updated to suit the modern era. The rounded silhouette created by the shorter length and oversized fit gives it the look of a flight jacket designed specifically for urban life.
This field coat features a half-coat length while retaining the iconic pocket design of The North Face’s classic “Mountain Jacket.” The high-density recycled nylon twill is durable enough to let you head out without an umbrella in light rain. If the rain picks up, simply pull up the hood stored at the neck. If it snows, simply attach a cardigan to the lining.
