HOUYHNHNM RUNNING CLUB♡ members immediately entered the store and started browsing for their favorite running gears. As one would expect from the largest flagship store of ASICS in Japan, the product lineup is extremely complete. The store is especially focused on running, and the lineup is sure to satisfy even the most demanding of HOUYHNHNM RUNNING CLUB♡ members.

The members examined the items, trying them on and discussing them with each other. After much deliberation, each of the four selected their favorites!

Hiroshi Yamamoto (ed.): Comfortable winter run. All black ninja style.

Hiroshi Yamamoto, the deputy director, whose motto is to run in a fun and stylish way, has selected a ninja style, all black from head to toe.

I hate the cold and find it hard to get motivated to run in the coming season. So, I made a selection based on the theme of running in a stylish, fun, and comfortable way even during such a season. The jacket is from the Monochrome collection. It has a hood and a water-repellent finish, so even a little rain or wind won't bother you.

I was attracted to the pants because of their beautiful silhouette. It is difficult to find good long pants that are just right for winter running, but these are stylish looking and the three-dimensional cut makes them easy to move in. The shoes are also from the Monochrome Collection. I chose these shoes completely for their looks, specs aside.

By the way, this store is a lot of fun. It overturns the concept of ASICS that we had until now, but in a good way. It is finally a place where runners and fashion lovers alike can stroll in and enjoy ASICS. That's the impression I got.

Masato Mizukoshi: I fell in love at first sight with the mustard-colored jacket with its beautiful color.

Masato Mizukoshi, the director of public relations for HOUYHNHNM RUNNING CLUB♡♡, selected a unique mustard-colored jacket as the centerpiece of his outfit.

I have often chosen subdued colored runwear in the past, but this time I dared to choose something with a beautiful color. I fell in love with this jacket at first sight, not only because of its beautiful colors, but also because of its casual MA-1-like design.

And since gray goes well with yellow, we selected a different tone of gray for the pants and shoes. The logo on each item is modest, so they will blend in easily with the scenery of the city when running in everyday life. They will also work well as after trail run wear.

I was surprised to see how fashionable ASICS has become recently. In addition to the items we selected this time, there were many other items of interest, including collaborations with fashion brands.

Tomomi Tsutsumi: Warm even in winter. Comfortable coordination with high female power.

Tomomi Tsutsumi, the fastest female member of HOUYHNHNM's handsome club and a talented runner who has placed high in numerous trail races, is wearing a short hooded jacket and ankle-length pants, and has chosen the high-end "MetaRun" model developed with the collective efforts of ASICS. She chose the "MetaRun," a high-end model developed by ASICS.

I usually wear masculine styles on my runs, so I thought this kind of girlish coordination would be refreshing once in a while (laughs). This jacket has warming material and longer sleeves, so it will be useful for the coming season.

I like the pants because of the slim silhouette and the shorter hem length. The shoes are recommended for daily runs as well as long races, so I will wear them in the ultramarathon I plan to run next year.

Incidentally, the first shoes I bought when I started running were ASICS shoes. I have a feeling of trust that if I choose ASICS, I can't go wrong. This store also has a wide range of items for women, so I would definitely recommend it to women who like running.
