Three things to see and do that will make you want to visit Munsingwear's flagship store.

Munsingwear, known for its penguin logo, has been attracting attention as the spearhead of a new symbolic icon. The flagship store of Munsingwear, which started out as an underwear manufacturer and established its popularity as the world's first golf wear brand, has opened in Ginza. We visited the store one step ahead of others with two guides, Taisuke Nakamuro of Murofis and model Kokoro Saegusa. We analyzed the three main points of interest in the new store and thoroughly dissected its appeal. We will also introduce the reception party.

Born in Ishikawa Prefecture in 1987. She has appeared in various women's fashion and beauty magazines, including "CLASSY.", "ar", and "steady." magazines, as well as in advertisements. In the past, she was the first image model for "RakuGol," a golf site for beginners, and a regular on the golf program "Asugol! a golf show for six months. As a result, her private life has recently become her life's work, and with a best score of 79, she is well known as a leading figure among women golfers who have established an image of golf in both their public and private lives.

Born in Tokyo in 1981. He started his career as a store staff of "EDIFICE" when he was a student, and was in charge of casual press for the brand from 2003, leaving the company in 2007. After working as a freelance press, he became the representative and director of "muroffice" in 2008. He is active in a variety of fields other than fashion, armed with an aesthetic sense that is said to be the best in the industry and the ability to talk. His hobby is golf, where he boasts an average score of less than 90. His trademark mustache is still in place.

NakamuroBecause of my work, I look at details such as the material and sewing first, rather than the design. This series is made of organic cotton, and its firmness and elasticity are definitely good.

NakamuroI especially like this pile fabric model. The surface, of course, is very soft to the touch on the inside, almost velvety. It makes me want to wear it as a set-up.

NakamuroIt's a masterful technique. And then there are the penguin symbols. If you look closely, you can see that there are so many different types of ties, different faces facing different directions, and the designs themselves are very different to begin with.

NakamuroThis is a special-order model that is rumored to have been made in cooperation with [SHIPS]. The name "Grand Slam" means that this model is derived from the golf line.

And if you look closely, you can see the number of buttons is also different! I'm not sure if it's the same thing or not, but it's a unique design.

The quality of the environment, including lockers, rest areas, and restaurants, varies from golf course to golf course. The room prepared at the "Munsingwear Clubhouse Ginza" this time is a luxurious and different space that can truly be called a VIP specification.

NakamuroSo is it a one-of-a-kind item? That's amazing. I didn't realize it was a head cover until you mentioned it, and thought it was a doll for display (laughs). (Laughs) I can sense the depth of Munsingwear's nostalgia in their selection of unique golf goods like this.

NakamuroOh, that's right! Indeed, the texture is the grass itself. But Mr. Saegusa, you know a lot about it. On the contrary, I apologize for my lack of knowledge (laughs)."
