Do you have any memories of Stan Smith?
When I was about 23 years old, there was the first reissue boom of Stan Smiths, and I bought my first pair at that time. It was a model that had established a firm position among sneakers, and it had a plain, tennis-like appearance that was orthodox low-tech, or basic for everyone. The red and green heel tabs gave a completely different impression, so I wore them frequently in those days."
What is your impression of Stan Smith?
I personally have a strong impression that Kris Van Assche, a designer at " Dior ", used to wear them. He wore a just right size top with baggy pants and thick bottoms, and it was very stylish. I was amazed at how elegant they looked when paired with sophisticated outfits. I also think the theory is to wear them neatly, but wearing them in a way that dares to wear them down also shows a punk mindset, which is good."
What did you think of the custom-made "Stan Smiths" that you wore this time?
At first, I was a little shy about wearing pure white sneakers. White sneakers, for better or worse, stand out in a styling, so I was always worried about how to make them blend in. However, in the case of this model, the gold accents are subtle, and the off-white color is soothing, so it was surprisingly easy to match it with other items by combining them with other materials in an elegant way.

How do you feel when you try on the custom-made Stan Smiths?
At first glance, the clean, pure white coloring caught my eye, and when I thought about my daily attire, I thought it would blend in with my slacks and jacket style. . The last is not too thin, yet not too voluminous. It is such a perfect balance. It would match any silhouette of pants.

When I wear Stan Smiths, I usually wear them with traditional or dressy pants, such as slacks, rather than casual pants, so I tried to choose something more mature this time as well.
