PROFILE
. He began writing original music in earnest after performing in his graduation film at university. While appearing in films as an actor, he is currently in the process of cultivating an eye for art through exposure to a large number of works. He grew up near the Tama River, and has many friends in the film, music, and publishing industries who are involved in manufacturing. . His hobbies include fashion and skateboarding.

There are always things that we don't want to see change , things that shouldn't change.
. Today, we were shooting on the banks of the Tama River.
I like places with nature even in Tokyo, and here I feel the changing of the seasons, flowers, grass, and other things that I cannot see if I stay at home all the time. It is a place where I have memories and where I feel at home .
. The pleasantness of this place may also be compatible with the music you make, Kusama.
This place is like an original landscape in my mind, and it is true that some of the songs may reflect this. There are landscapes that never change, and there are landscapes that are changing, and this is an important place for me to show those changes. . I actually bring my guitar here.
How do you make music?
. Basically, I create with guitar and voice. Other than that, I don't have a set method, but rather just explore what kind of sound I want to create. I just play, sing, film, listen, adjust, and repeat. I've learned to enjoy it.
After watching the film, I became aware of casual human activities.
What are your musical influences?
My parents have been playing music at home and in the car since I was a child, and I think that is the biggest influence on me. Also, I have been skateboarding since high school, and I have watched many videos of skaters, and I think I have been influenced by songs that I vaguely remember hearing, or I know the names of the artists, even though I don't know the songs.
What made you want to become an actor, and what is your favorite movie now?
When I was in elementary school, I saw an action movie and was hooked. I had a vague idea that one day I would like to be a part of something like that, and in my senior year of high school I decided to study acting in college. Recently, I have been very interested in films made in Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, and other Asian countries, and I have many opportunities to watch them.
Do you have any goals as an actor that you are conscious of?
. As is the case when I make music, I want to leave behind a body of work that I truly believe is good. While the subject matter and story are always different, I want to figure out what kind of work I am going to make and how I am going to be there, and I want to enjoy that.
How much weight is given to acting and how much to music?
. I am not particular about one or the other, and I do not divide my work between them. . In both cases, I want to create and preserve what only I can do. If people who see or hear my work find it interesting, that would be the best thing for me. I am constantly searching for new ways to do this, but I would like to continue to do both.

I have several MUJI T-shirts, and they have a nice shape and the necks don't get loose. I skate, so my T-shirts get dirty easily, but they are inexpensive, so I can easily afford them.
What kind of image do you have of "MUJI"?
. I have the image of a brand that is thinking about the environment. . I, too, have reached an age where I think about what kind of things I wear and what kind of things I spend my money on. . It is a statement of intent, so I have to make my own choices properly. Also, when I go to a store, the space is pleasant and the curry is delicious (laughs).
