Kroi and Vans take a new step forward.

Vans' new model "EVDNT UltimateWaffle" is not only futuristic in appearance but also innovative in functionality. In Vol. 2, we asked the five members of the No. 1 band "Kroi" to try on a pair of shoes that seem to embody the spirit of "OFF THE WALL" (unconventional). They are more than capable of expressing the appeal of "Evident Ultimate Waffle" as they continue to create new creativity without being bound by common sense.

PROFILE

Kroi.

Formed in 2018. This 5-piece band presents a unique musical style that fuses all genres, including funk, soul, R&B, and hip-hop. Due to their versatility, the band is named "Kroi" in honor of the fact that when all colors are mixed together, they become "black" and in honor of their influences, black music. 2019 will see them auditioning for the "Can we get out!? Summer Soni? and won the audition to perform at SUMMER SONIC 2019. They then made their major label debut with the album "LENS", which was released on June 23.

The eye-catching translucent outsole is the UltimateWaffle outsole construction, which was previously used only in the skateboarding-specific line, Pro Skate (now Skate Classics). The "Evident UltimateWaffle" is the first shoe to incorporate this functionality directly into a lifestyle shoe. It uses a different pattern and material from previous waffle soles to improve grip and durability. And the built-in shank and UltraCush™ insole provide enhanced cushioning and support. The upper is based on a breathable knit mesh, but mixes different materials such as leather overlays, perforated suede vamps, and rubber parts. The stylish design, which is both traditional and futuristic, is easy to match with any outfit and will make an excellent accent.
