These deck shoes are based on the professional shoes supplied to the U.S. and Japanese representatives in the America's Cup, a yacht race that decides the world's best sailors, and have been updated for street wear. The latest technology for amphibious shoes has been incorporated, including drainage holes on the sides, a sole made of wetsuit material, and the brand's original Sperry sole, which grips firmly without slipping even on wet surfaces due to the wave-shaped incisions. The mesh material is thermo-compressed to create a lightweight, quick-drying upper, and the 360° lacing system unique to deck shoes also helps improve fit.
