The original story is Phish's Halloween.

Autumn is deepening in Doshi Village, and by the end of October, the trees have begun to turn red and the mornings and evenings become much cooler.
The "ANARCHO MOUNTAINEERS CAMP" was held at such a time. . The venue was "Suigen no Mori Camp Land. A flea market, workshops, and live music were held at the site. We immediately spoke with Mr. Kobayashi, the organizer of the event.

Setsumasa Kobayashi / As you may know, Setsumasa Kobayashi is the president of Mountain Research. This spring, he opened "Suigen no Mori Camp Land" in Doshi-mura, a camping facility for which he provided overall direction.
Can you give us a brief overview of the event?
Kobayashi:It's not that I originally wanted to have a campground, but it's more like I wanted to have this event, which is why I created "Suigen no Mori Camp Land" (laughs). The original idea came from Phish, who do a special concert every year on Halloween, and on that day they cover other bands album by album. Like The Who's "Quadruple Personality" or The Beatles' "White Album". . There's a market there, too. And because it was in America, everyone would be dressed up. In short, Halloween is like a festival, where everyone can have fun, isn't it? We don't really dress up here (laughs), but that's how I feel about this event as well.
Will this become an annual event?
Kobayashi:I'd like to do it 10 times if possible. . Maybe after the fourth or fifth time, we'll start to see some interesting effects. This is the first time, so I think everyone is exhausted (laughs).

You do everything yourself, without contractors.
Kobayashi:Yes, yes. We decided to do as much as we could on our own. . There were many overlapping events, so we may have inconvenienced some people, but I'm glad we were able to hold the event without incident.
Do you plan to increase the size of the event as it goes on?
Kobayashi:I don't think that will change. We can keep it at a size that is comfortable for us. It would be more interesting to have a small campground that lasts for 10 years than to have a large campground that doesn't last. . It just so happens that we are lucky to have a campground of this size. There are exactly 20 sites here, and if there are four people in each site, there are about 80 people in total.

Mr. Kobayashi prepared a whitening kit for the LED lanterns for this event. This special package, which was unveiled for the first time at the ANARCHO MOUNTAINERS CAMP flea market, includes an Adamski hat from Rockfield Equipment, a zero cap from In-Avance, and other parts all in white. Many fans came to the event first thing in the morning for this item.
. And now, a whitening kit for LED lanterns is also available.
Kobayashi:The project started last December, and with Tsukahara's guidance from Ballistics and the kind cooperation of the president of Rock Field, the umbrella manufacturer, we were able to create a special package. However, the color is not pure white, but a subtle off-white, which was a very important point. It was very difficult to get the color just right (laughs).
Thank you very much. . We look forward to talking with you again around the fire.
Kobayashi:Thanks . Have fun.

Flea market and workshops by the Friends.
Mr. Kobayashi's centripetal force is not limited to any industry. He is a man of knowledge, and his style of being one or two steps ahead of his peers is the envy of many. The people Mr. Kobayashi called together were cool, too. If a flea market were to be held in Tokyo, a huge line would be inevitable. Here is a short interview with the Friends.
