The changing shape of the gift.

It's a lovely house. I heard you just moved in?

HARU:I moved in yesterday. I am not feeling it yet.

TaiTan:We got married last November, and after living separately for about a year, we finally started living together.

Yesterday! Sorry for barging in when you were slammed. ...... What made you decide on this house?

HARU:I looked around at many properties, but I couldn't find one that really appealed to me. . I was introduced to this house just as I was getting tired of searching. Rather than the town as a deciding factor, I was attracted to this lovely house with lots of sunlight. Another reason I chose this house was that it was easy to invite my friends.

TaiTan:It may be a little big for the two of us, but we wanted to make it a house that people would want to come to. . We used to share a house with a friend, and we often work at home except for recording and rehearsals, so it will be easier for us to spend time together.

What kind of interior would you like?

TaiTan:I'm not picky , so I'm going to leave it to you.

HARU:I haven't decided yet, so I would be happy to find a good piece of furniture. I will choose based on my intuition.

The overwhelming presence in the room is "Saepoke," a work by TaiTan's favorite artist, "Saeborg. . If you get close and look at it closely, you can see its cute dull eyes.

I am looking forward to seeing the interior finished! With all the events coming up toward the end of the year , I would like to ask you about gifts. What kind of gifts have you given each other so far?

TaiTan:In the stage of getting to know each other, I would give them things that I had made myself. Some of them might have been annoying in some cases (laughs). The first one I gave was a New Year's card as big as this one .

TaiTan:. I had it custom made by a printing plant. Preparation took about 2 months. When I asked the factory to make only one lot, they gave me a subtle look, but I expressed my enthusiasm and they made it (laughs).

HARU:You gave me one every year (laughs). I was surprised and happy because I had never received such a big New Year's card . I kept all of them. What did I give them?

TaiTan:. for example, a stuffed octopus .

HARU:Right! While traveling, I found a cute stuffed animal and gave it to him as a gift. . and I also had a friend make a rug out of an original character he drew for me.

TaiTan:She is surrounded by many people who make things, so she gives me gifts made by her friends. I like to cook, so the other day I received a large handmade wooden carved spoon.

HARU:. I chose it because I thought it would be nice to be able to live with something my friends made.

TaiTan:Also, I once had an elaborate way of giving it to me, which was interesting. I was sent a coin-operated locker at a train station with a PIN number, just saying, "Here is something special," and when I went to open it, I found a stone in it (laughs).

HARU:I found this stone when I went to the beach by myself (laughs). It was the flattest stone I had ever seen, and I thought, "I have to give it to him! I thought, "I have to give it to him!

TaiTan:. there must be a gazillion of them (laughs). (Laughs) Since we now live together, we discussed the idea of giving each other gifts that we can both use and that will become our possessions.
