Interior stylists move every day, don't they? They load furniture into huge trucks and bring it to the shoot.
Endo:You are absolutely right. Of course it is hard work, and it is physically demanding, but it is also very rewarding.

You recently moved into your own house, didn't you?
Endo:Just this year, I moved into this new house. Because of my work, I have a lot of stuff at home. I have a lot of props that I use for photo shoots. Also, as an interior stylist, I didn't want to cut corners in my own home. I searched and searched until I finally found a place that met my requirements. In the future, I would like to rent it out as a studio, and I would also like to create a system where people can rent props.
Your house is full of beautiful furniture. What criteria do you use to select the interior design you use in your home?
Endo:I value good design, of course, but I don't like things that are unusable. Therefore, I do not choose items that are just visually pleasing. However, I often make impulse purchases and regret it....

Do you think there are trends in the furniture world as well?
Endo:Of course there is. Nowadays, it is becoming a global trend to coordinate mixed styles. Japanese and Scandinavian styles are being combined, for example. Also, collectors are rushing to buy vintage pieces by Pierre Jeanneret and Hans J. Wegner, and the prices are going up and up. The world is truly endless.

It's not easy to afford. Recently, the trend has been to enhance the home environment, and I would be glad to get your advice on furniture selection.
Endo:First of all, such luxury is not everything. There are many ways to keep prices low. For example, among the things I use at home, there is a table that I bought a cheap tabletop and attached antique legs to it. Although you have to do it yourself, it looks completely different from mass-produced items, and it can completely change the atmosphere of your home. However, if everything is like that, it will look cheap, so you have to be bold where you want to be bold. It is important to use them in different ways.
