What is Minakami like?
After a two-and-a-half hour drive from Tokyo, we arrived in Minakami!

Not to mention Enomoto and Yamamoto, who are the core members of HOUYHNHNM RUNNING CLUB♡ and run around to the point of being taken aback by others, Mihara is also an active person who makes it a habit to run and exercise his body on a daily basis. She is also an athlete who has achieved a sub-four (under 4 hours) time in a full marathon. Together with model Minaya Asano, she runs a running community for women called "GO GIRL," which holds a running camp every summer in Minakami Town.
Located in the northernmost part of Gunma Prefecture, Minakami Town is rich in nature, with beautiful mountains such as Tanigawa-dake, a famous peak loved by mountain climbers. The town is also the headwaters of the Tone River, which is an important source of water for the Tokyo metropolitan area, and water activities such as rafting and canyoning are popular in the area. In winter, the area is crowded with skiers and snowboarders, as it is also one of the snowiest areas in Japan.
Ms. Mihara is so taken by the charm of Minakami that she visits the area several times a year, in addition to running training camps for "GO GIRL.
The charm of Minakami is that the nature is magnificent and the scenery is spectacular. You can enjoy a variety of activities in spring, summer, fall, and winter, and the scenery is always spectacular! Even in summer, it is relatively cool and pleasant to spend time here.
