Do we stubbornly stick to our beliefs, or do we adapt to the times and environment? The creations of the British brand "Hunter," known for its rubber boots, fall into the latter category.
The brand was born in Scotland in 1856, first as boots for the military, then as a royal warrant item, and more recently, as a favorite of celebrities from abroad. It is surprising that the shape and design of the boots have not changed significantly each time, but have only been slightly updated. My lifestyle changed as I was influenced by many different experiences. When I was a student, I tried auditioning for models and imitating fashion that I thought was cool. When I went to Bunka Fashion College, I saw many people's fashions, and my idea of what was "cool" changed. After that, I worked at the vintage clothing store "NOILL VINTAGE," where I learned about a wide variety of clothing genres while broadening my perspective to the world. I enjoy choosing and selecting different items to suit my own taste.
One of Hunter's new products is also genre-less. While based on basic designs, sometimes they have a rugged finish with functionality, and sometimes they are iconic with the red logo as the main feature. We do not stick to one genre, but create products based on free ideas.
