SHOPPING ADDICT 2017 JUNE. - Editor's Favorite

Seven different items symbolizing early summer have been prepared by seven different people. Let's make sure we have the right kind of clothes to make summer memorable. More important than the installation is to be memorable.

To Paris in summer.

Ryo Komuta

A few hours after I write this, I will be leaving for Paris in the heat of the summer (36 degrees Celsius!). I'm off to Paris, where the temperature will be a scorching 36 degrees Celsius! I will be running around the city trying to catch the tail end of the current fashion trend.

BOSEBose SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth® speaker

I'll be using one of these for a while.

The other day,My BlogI wrote about it in my previous post, but I still have more praise to give, so let me introduce it here as well. I have been using various Bose products, but my personal favorite product is this "SOUNDLINK REVOLVE BLUETOOTH® SPEAKER. The smaller size of this cylindrical speaker is more compact than a plastic bottle, but the sound quality is just wonderful. The sound quality is simply amazing. Not only is the bass sound great, which is a house specialty, but the expansive and deep soundscape is likely to show its power outdoors as well. Although we do not know if the designers took these sound qualities into account when designing this speaker, it is drip-proof, which should not be a problem if it rains a little, and it is also tough enough to withstand shocks. I don't know how many birds with one stone it can kill, but I would like to loudly appeal that this is definitely a product that you can't go wrong with.

HELLY HANSEN × ParabootHelly Hansen x Paraboot deck shoes

The definitive summer edition.

Helly Hansen and Paraboot. Both of these favorite brands have teamed up to create the ultimate weapon for summer 2017. Helly Hansen, a modern and stylish take on its sailing origins, and Paraboot, the conscience of the leather shoe world, which continues to make shoes in rural France while preserving traditional manufacturing methods. The marriage of the two has produced a refreshing pair of deck shoes. Deck shoes are a must-have for summer, but many people may have thought that deck shoes that are too light or too rugged would be too "toe-matchy. This collaboration has created the perfect solution.

LOOK SEALuxie's pajamas

Please set up.

Cotton and stripes. Is that the public image of pajamas? I think that is the public image of pajamas, but personally, I am not attracted to it. It reminds me of Mr. Maio, or perhaps I have a somewhat vague image. Then, there is this one in silk and navy. This is a product of Luxy, a brand that produces daily wear using silk for all items. Although it is not so rare these days, the stylishness of this item, which functions as a fashion item as well as a going-out wear, is so wonderful that you can't help but look at it twice. The tonal piping, understated luster, and soft texture of the fabric make these pajamas something I would want to wear, without any compliments. Silk, by the way, is said to be excellent in promoting blood circulation, antibacterial and moisturizing effects. It is perfect for pajamas.

FILL THE BILLFill the Bill Pullover

Exquisite hybrid condition.

Summer is all about linen. I don't mean to argue against linen, but I have not been able to reach for it because I feel that most of the items are resort-oriented and have a dusty finish. I think I want a little bit of masculinity because of the natural materials. This French linen pullover released by Phil the Bill is based on the U.S. Navy Rain Parka, so it has an American look. However, the material is linen, which gives it a light atmosphere that is absolutely impossible to find in military items. The base is a 7-part sleeve, but it has an adjuster to make it short-sleeved as well. It has a relaxed form, so it looks good to be worn as a bathrobe. Wear it with a tank top as an inner layer. By the way, I am very interested in "Fill the Bill" these days. The colors, the silhouettes, the way the design motifs from old clothes are picked up, the sense of the times, all of them are my favorite.

I participated in a race called "Red Bull White Dragon Run. The race was 3333 meters long and involved running up 3333 steps. I had no idea that about 900 elite runners would participate in such a perverted race. The running scene is somewhat crazy (including me...).

City to SummitCity to Summit coin purse

God is in the details.

I don't usually use a coin case, but when I do activities such as running or trail running, I carry a minimum amount of money and an IC card in a Ziploc. It is functional, but a Ziploc is not very stylish. As the saying goes, "God is in the details," and style is only complete when you pay attention to the little things. This is where City to Summit's "invisible coin purse" comes in. Lightweight, durable, and water-resistant X-PAC is combined with clear vinyl, and a watertight zip is used for the opening and closing part. It is of course easy to check the amount of coins at a glance, and although a bit aggressive, it is also large enough to hold an IC card when held vertically. The color matching of the stitching, which shows a subtle sense of style, is also an attractive feature.

SCARPAScarpa Trail Running Shoes

Shoes that suit the bearded mogul.

Run girls!" and Mr. Kobayashi of ANSWER4, a sack manufacturer, there are many "bearded mojitos" in the trail running world. Although he has a different mindset from the two mentioned above, Joe Grant, a mountain athlete from Colorado, is one of the leading bearded mojitos in the scene. He and his Italian shoe manufacturer, Scarpa, have created the "Atom," a pair of trail running shoes. The mesh upper is made of lightweight, breathable microfiber that is heat-welded to the upper, while Vibram's Mega Grip, which provides an overwhelming grip on rocky terrain, is combined with high lugs. While not quite a bearded mogul, as one of the bearded wiggler's friends, we would definitely like to try them out.

KEEN×SKOLOCTKeen x Scoloct sandals

Sandals that are both adorable and crazy.

SCOLOcto is a mysterious life form born in Harajuku. It is a mysterious creature born in Harajuku, Tokyo, and has appeared on the international fashion scene not only in its hometown of Harajuku, but also with "Takahiro Miyashita the Soloist. and has been favored by Pharrell Williams, and has even made a name for himself as a blogger for Huinamu. The ever-so-approachable Scrocto has teamed up with "Keen" to release these sandals. The base model is the Yogi, which has long had a reputation for comfort, and Skorokto is scattered throughout the upper, with a print on the toe that could be his own footprint. The characteristic of SCOLOACTO, which is both adorable and insane, has become a finish that is slowly and gradually transmitted. Personally, I would rather wear them as after-race sandals with a smug look than for everyday wear.

BallisticsBallistics Sleeping Cushions

Sleeping cushions.

Perhaps it is because I grew up in a Japanese-style room, but the wooden flooring and carpets of modern apartments do not feel comfortable to my body. I feel strangely at home in a combination of tatami mats, a kotatsu, and a zabuton, with a plate of rice crackers (or mandarin oranges in winter) on top. Zabuton, in particular, is a convenient item that can be used not only for sitting but also for all sorts of other purposes, such as a bed when strung together, a pillow when folded, and a futon when covered. However, I am aware that it would be inappropriate to introduce an old-fashioned zabuton into the apartment I am currently living in. What we would like to introduce is the "Ballistics" sleeping cushion. The cushions are made by a futon craftsman in Yamagata, and the covers are made of American-made bandanas. It also comes with a special stuff sack, making it easy and convenient to carry around. With this cushion, you can enjoy the coziness of a Japanese-style room anywhere.

ENGINEERED GARMENTS × BEAMS PLUSEngineered Garments x BEAMS PLUS Basketball Collection

Appearance matters.

Now that the boundary between sports and fashion has disappeared, I feel that the style seen in the way people dress has become more pronounced in the way they live. The same is true for stores. The term "cross-industrial collaboration," which was not so familiar in the past, is no longer a new one. Conversely, it has broadened the range of our business. When I saw the collaboration collection by Engineered Garments and BEAMS PLUS, although the two companies are in the same industry, I felt that the items were very fresh, as they brought basketball, which is originally positioned as a sport, as close to fashion as possible. I thought, "What if there was another professional basketball team in New York? The idea was to create a fictional team called "NEWYORK GARMENTS. Engineered Garments" produced the uniforms for this team. The approach is very fashionable, but they dare to play basketball wearing these uniforms. I personally think this stance is interesting.

asicsASICS Fabre® Japan L

If you're serious, asics.

I seriously played basketball for about 10 years from elementary school to high school. It all started with Slam Dunk. I asked my father to buy me a basketball goal that was popular (in my hometown) at the time (one that was strong enough to hang from the ring), and after club, I spent my days immersed in basketball, playing 1-on-1 and 3-on-3 with friends until the sun went down. Most of our conversations at school were about slam dunks and bash. The "Favre® Japan L" was the one that kept me on my toes during those basketball days. I had a flirtation with the "GEL" series during the course of my basketball career, but the grip that the shoes had on the ground and the natural leather's unique fit that grew on my feet as I wore them were one-of-a-kind. No wonder they were created in 1982 and are still being sold today. If you are serious, ASICS is the one. I have decided on these as my next bash.

ChampionChampion's Grip Socks

Even socks are now being chosen.

In the past, I only focused on the performance of the bash and didn't care about the socks at all except for the color. Rather, or perhaps it is more correct to say that they were not that functional. In the 90s, I thought it was the same no matter which one I wore. And now, more than 20 years later, I have learned that socks have also evolved to an amazing degree. The "Grip Socks" use a non-slip yarn at the base of the toes, where the load is placed during a dash, to prevent foot slippage inside the shoe and enable agile movement. This allows you to maintain high performance for an extended period of time. Like the bash, socks are now also a matter of choice. By the way, the color introduced this time is the new color of this season. I like the navy and yellow color, which looks like Michigan color.

NIKENike Basketball

It's too much like the others.

When a large group of people play basketball, whether indoors or outdoors, and everyone brings their own ball, they usually use the wrong ball for everyone else, or if anything, they often take the wrong ball home with them. This is especially true indoors, where the main ball is a brown leather ball. This is why we would like to introduce you to this colored ball, which is not the fifth tricolor ball thrown in the NBA's 3-point contest, but it should not be so different. The Nike Versa Tuck is a pretty sucky ball with a soft ball touch and a textured surface for indoor use and durability for outdoor use. The price is reasonable, and it would be fun to have all three here and use them according to the wear of the day. Recommended!

iRobotRobot Vacuum Cleaner Roomba 960

NO ROOMBA,NO LIFE!

I think it was Lily Franky who said, "To become an adult is not to be able to do everything, but to be able to give up on what you can't do. Lily is always right. What I can't do, but want to be able to do, is to clean the house often and have a "nice and neat life" along with it. I started my search for the ideal vacuum cleaner by checking out cyclone vacuums that could handle the carpets in my house, but the design just didn't feel right. It was when I was about to compromise that I came across the latest 900 series of Roomba. Of course, Roomba itself is widely known, but I had no idea it had gotten so smart. It works with an app, maps out where it has cleaned, and the start time can be set from the app. When I used it, it cleaned my carpets more than adequately. And while this is probably the main product of the app, it also allows you to spend the time you would have spent cleaning the carpet doing something else. Of course the price is commensurate, but if you convert the time spent cleaning by myself into an hourly wage, it pays for itself in a few months, and it changes my life to the core. I've given up cleaning by myself. And I've started to leave it to Roomba.

YAMADAZ-10N by Yamada Lighting Co.

The Detective Agency.

In one of my favorite movies, "Driver," starring Ryan Gosling, there is a scene in which a man is working silently in a pitch-dark room with only his desk light on. Floor lamps and room lamps have a warm atmosphere and romanticism, but desk lamps are different. A plain, unobtrusive, and simple design is more appropriate, like this light. This Z-10N is infinitely dimmable from 5 to 100%, and its low profile and lack of volume make it perfect for the desk area. What's more, it goes great with Apple's metallic computers. When I saw a good friend of mine, a writer, using this light on his desk in a "detective agency" theme, it made a lot of sense to me. It's a bit classic, but it fits the image of the ideal man who quietly gets the job done without being vociferous about it.

PUEBCOSTEEL STORAGE BOX Rectangle in Puebco

A rescue box for lazy people.

Putting things back in their original positions after using them is something we learn in childhood, but because we don't do it, every corner of the house becomes cluttered. I think such a person should read "A Frenchman Only Owns 10 Outfits" and declutter (though I haven't read it). As a faint resistance against my inability to do so, I decided to position things in a fixed place. I could put my undressed clothes in this "Puebco" storage box, or I could put a bag that I always use in it. Of course, you can also use it to keep things organized in a closet by placing a single board over it and arranging a number of things on top of it. It's hard to find this taste of being able to leave it either inside or outside of storage. I especially recommend it for people with a habit similar to mine, who are rough around the edges and are OK with just sticking various things in a box for the time being (laughs).

No one knows.

It is a teenager's privilege to be intoxicated by minorities! I know that, but during the print T-bubble of the past year or two, I have encountered many brands that exude an underground mood. Tokensurf Bose, which I found at the Fifth General Store in Nakameguro last year, was one of the most exciting brands I came across. I bought a T-shirt and a long T-shirt without hesitation, and this year, the brand has expanded its sales channels and can be found in various stores. I was looking at them with a happy yet sad feeling as if I was witnessing the band's major label debut, and just recently I took a peek at the Fifth General Store's Instagram and saw a Token long T-shirt I had never seen before! Melted smileys and cement blocks. Catchy yet enigmatic, Token's use of motifs with an excellent sense of post-rock coldness is unique to Token. Tokyo has no sky.

I am reminded of this famous passage from "Chieko Sho" every time I return to my hometown of Hiratsuka and look at the wide sky. The shapes and tints of nature are more beautiful than any other form of art, and their scale and persistence comfortingly remind us of our helplessness. It is said that the best painters end up worshipping nature. The T-Club Scheme team worked with San Diego-born, New York-based artist Julian Krinswitz to create this long T-shirt, a street icon, printed with four photographs that symbolize nature. It is a rare piece that blends rich emotion with an urban mood. Julien has repeatedly said in interviews, "I am a 'human being. Julien has said repeatedly in interviews, "I focus on 'being human. steinStein's long sleeve T

Thirteen.

Number Girl's song "Thirteen," used as the song in the movie "Harmful Insects," is an unusual (only?) song for them. The song is an instrumental. It is a song that is truly typical of the group, projecting the image of adolescence in the inorganic word "Thirteen". When I spotted the word printed discreetly on the sleeve of this long-sleeve T-shirt by Stein, I was reminded of a strangely sentimental feeling, whether or not it was in line with the designer's intention. The body material is a blend of cotton and lyocell, which gives the garment a lustrous and falling appearance. It is originally oversized, so please try wearing it with a delicate, shadowy atmosphere. I can't do it with my pop face, though.

On June 2, I went to Yagi Tsusho's exhibition for the fall/winter season. This company is a trading company in Japan that offers brands such as "Mackintosh," "Babur," "Woolrich," and "J&M Davidson. I usually get a drink ticket at the end of the exhibition and have an iced coffee in the Motoya Express, a light van parked at the entrance on the first floor, before heading home. At this exhibition, I found a pair of shoes from "Traditional Weatherwear. They look like wingtip leather shoes, but in fact they are rain shoes with rubber uppers. They have an elaborate design that looks like real grained leather, so they look just like leather shoes. When I saw them at the exhibition, I barely recognized them after listening to what they had to say. And because they are made of rubber, they are reasonably priced. TACOMA FUJI RECORDSWrestling T-shirt by Tacomahuji Records

LOVE professional wrestling.

I was a passionate pro-wrestling fanatic in elementary school, sitting in front of the TV every week watching "World Pro Wrestling" and "All Japan Pro Wrestling Live". Of course, my favorite magazines were "Gong" and "Weekly Pro," and I would mail order T-shirts that I saw advertised at the back of those magazines. My favorite was a long T-shirt with the Great Muta's face painted all over the front (it went down to my knees!). I really like the way he wears it until it's tattered. I used to wear it all the time until it fell apart. Looking back on it now, I feel that the fundamental manner of wearing printed T-shirts was developed during those days. Yes, printed T-shirts do not need to be "trendy. It is all about whether you like the motif of your favorite band, favorite culture, favorite wrestler, etc. I met the T-shirts shown in the photo at TACOMA FUJI RECORDS, which I visited for an interview a few days ago. There were T-shirts featuring the king of combat, NIHIAKI MAEDA, a mysterious foreign wrestler, and even a message about wrestling. As soon as I saw them, my passion for wrestling that day came flooding back to me. You don't need to be a geek to choose a T-shirt. You don't need any gibberish as to why you should choose a T-shirt, all you need is your love for pro wrestling.

T-shirts as art pieces.

BUFFALO is a group of artists who led the London fashion scene in the 80s. The creativity of those days, led by the legendary stylist Ray Petrie, has not faded at all, even in 2017. For example, the mix of traditional and sports styles and the Native American mix are now commonplace. It was also the first to use black people as models. BUFFALO RAY PETRI," a collection of photographs taken at that time, is fresh even today. Although I am not of the generation that embodied the work in real time, I am one of the people who were influenced by it, even though I followed it closely. Free fashion that is not bound by preconceived notions always makes my heart flutter. The T-shirts introduced here are a selection of representative "BUFFALO" photos. The middle one, "KILLER," is a well-known one that was also used on the cover of a photo book. The "OUTRAGE" and "INDIAN," which is my personal favorite, are also included. It is really difficult to choose one because they are all good photos. I guess I will buy three pieces as I promised. These T-shirts are not only to be worn, but also to be kept as an art piece.

GOOD OL' × PORTERGoodowl x Porter's Mesh Bag

Summer offerings.

Choosing a bag for summer is difficult. Heavy materials look too hot and heavy bags lack lightness. Is there a bag that is lighter, cooler, and more uplifting to the summer mood? Goodall" has come up with a summer bag that solves these problems in one fell swoop. First of all, I like the bare mesh inside. The open appearance of the bag, which ignores all privacy, contributes to the buoyant mood of summer. It's fun to wonder what to stuff inside. Favorite music, favorite books, your prized camera, your special stationery, and so on. It's also fun to decorate it in your own color, with the premise that you dare to show what's inside. The appearance of a bag filled with your favorite things makes it even more exciting. Of course, since it is made of mesh, it is OK even when wet, so we can assure you that it will come in handy at the beach scene. Just a reminder, do not put pornographic books or zero grade test papers in it by mistake.
