Case 01 Yoshitaka Kondo (freelance director, PR planner) Item A_MODULARIZE V1 24.1
PROFILE
After working in PR for a select store, she became a freelancer. Currently in charge of PR for art hotel "BnA_WALL," vegetable soup brand "RAW SOUP," and restaurant "Mansai Sake Shop," among others.

Please tell us about your job first. In addition to fashion, I understand that you also do PR work for a wide range of other businesses, including movies and pubs.
Kondo: Sometimes I am asked, "What do you do in the end?" (laughs). (Laughs.) My main work is brand direction and PR. SOUP, and I also help with PR for the art hotel "BnA_WALL" and restaurants.
What is important to you in your work?
Kondo: It is about communicating "correctly". For example, a certain izakaya, for which I am in charge of PR, does not want to create a buzz, but wants to communicate properly to the customers who need to know. I want to be the same way.
Let's talk about sneakers. The "MODULARIZE V1 24.1" is styled beautifully with the pants.
Kondo: Since the shoes look like outdoor shoes, I chose a "Boa de Strata" set-up to match with a techie item made of nylon material. I am conscious of an urban sports style.
How do they feel?
Kondo: I heard that there are almost no seams on the inside of the shoes, and I certainly don't feel stressed at all. It makes such a difference when you are aware of it.
Item B_VERTHER RA LE 24.2

What about "VERTHER RA LE 24.2"?
Kondo: I felt that they were beautiful shoes, partly because the uppers were suede. So, I decided to match them with an all-black jacket by Brahms, a shirt by Lifestyle Gallery Orca shirt, and Levi's (®︎) staples. I usually like to wear all-black, but I wanted to convey the fact that even the same black color can have a different look depending on the material.
Both shoes are breathable and waterproof, and both are comfortable to walk in.
Kondo: I am a freelancer without an office, so I do a lot of traveling on foot. So I am extremely grateful for Descente's shoes, which are lightweight, easy to walk in, and resistant to rain.
Lastly, please tell us about your hobbies.
Kondo: My passion for DJing, which I used to do 20 years ago, was rekindled about 5 years ago, and now I DJ 5 to 6 events a month. I mainly DJ house music, and I love the legendary "Body & Soul" party that originated in New York City. I love "Body & Soul," a legendary party that originated in New York City.
