To make up for the humiliation of a year ago.
Less than three hours from Tokyo Station by Shinkansen bullet train and rental car, I was excited to see the size of Lake Biwa, no matter how many times I visit the lake. On the first day, we fished from the shore at several points, and on the second day, we went to the lake by boat. The biggest bass we caught last year was 35 cm, and the purpose of the Hui-Nam Fishing Club's bass fishing is not only to compete for the biggest bass, but also to catch the biggest bass ...... because we are here in Lake Biwa. We have caught a 60cm-plus (, a.k.a. Rokumaru ), which is rarely seen in the Kanto area, and we have even set a world record. We had a dream to visit such Lake Biwa, and we came with the same members as last year.

Director of the Hui-Nam Fishing Club. Last year, we caught a lot of fish, but we weren't satisfied with the results. It's time for us to get revenge for what we all vowed to do. Recently, the Hui-Nam Fishing Club has been going to the sea to catch fish that we can eat, but we originally started out fishing for bass. I'm going back to the basics and having fun."

He runs the popular vintage clothing store "Arms Clothing Store" with stores in Yutenji, Shimokitazawa and Aoyama. I am excited to go to Lake Biwa for the first time in a year. Last year was my first time on Lake Biwa, and I didn't know what to expect. It would be great if I could fish with a big lure like I usually do. First of all, I want to catch one fish."

He said, "These days, Lake Biwa is at the entrance of autumn, with the temperature dropping in the morning and evening. Bass have started to actively chase bait ( small fish ) as food. I will guide you around the northern lakes."

After working as a sales manager at Mr. Hollywood, which operates N. HOLYWOOD, he worked as a freelance sales representative, mainly handling apparel. My goal is to catch at least 50 fish. But I still want to catch a rokumaru. I'm losing weight for a bodybuilding competition, so I want to do my best not to lose focus."

"I've been doing a lot of ocean fishing lately, so I haven't fished since Bakumon in June," he says. I've been doing a lot of ocean fishing lately, so I haven't fished for bass since June at Bakumon. I want to take revenge for last year, and 50-plus fish is a must. They are going to a different area than last time, so I'm looking forward to it."

writer
He writes mainly for magazines and webzines. Last year I lost a rather big bass right in front of me, which was a shameful result. I'm excited to be fishing Lake Biwa for the first time in a year! The scenery is great. I am looking forward to visiting various spots over the next two days.
Fumihiko Ikemoto
photographer
He is active in magazines, websites, and advertisements, and also does outdoor photography. Last year my goal was to catch a few, but this time I'm focusing on size. This time, I decided to use this lure based on the information I had received from Hakusui-san. That is totally different from the past. Lake Biwa is known for its weed ( and waterweed ), so that's where I wanted to target."
