Hirotaka Tanaka

Founder and President, Puebco

Born in downtown Tokyo to a photographer father who was on the edge in many ways and a mother who was a housewife and later a cosmetics saleswoman. From her mother, who was good at giving compliments, she learned the basics of service, that if you take the initiative yourself, others will be pleased with your actions. After graduating from high school, she worked for an apparel company in Shibuya, Tokyo, and then moved to an interior design company. After 10 years with the company, she resigned and founded Puebco in 2007. Why manufacturing in India?
