“GapThe "Vintage Music Tees" collection has been released several times in the past, each time to great acclaim.
Each time the faces of the group have changed, leaving music fans in a tizzy, and now the latest installment is here.
This year's lineup includes eight artists, including The Beatles, Kurt Cobain, and Nas, and will feature a record 21 models, including new designs. Below are some of the new designs.
The Beatles are a pop-up piece with the famous "Yellow Submarine" graphic and body color yellow.
Kurt Cobain designed a large graphic of Kurt and his signature on the front design.
Nas will be wearing his own visuals and graphics that symbolize his roots on the East Coast of the United States.
Metallica featured the cover art for their second album, "Ride The Lightning," released in 1984.
Prince printed the visuals for "Parade," the soundtrack to the 1986 film "Under The Cherry Moo," which he starred in and directed himself.
The Grateful Dead adopted the legendary live performance at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in 1978 for their graphics.
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers designed one of the 1978 West Coast Tour.
The Beach Boys turned on the graphics for their 1988 World Tour.
The Beastie Boys printed the artwork for their classic 1986 release, No Sleep Till Brooklyn.
In addition, 12 popular T-shirts from past years, including Nirvana, Bob Marley, Dr. Dre, The Rolling Stones, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, will be re-released in updated, higher-ounce materials.
All are priced at a reasonable 7,990 yen. Sizes range from XS to XL, so parents and children, couples, and friends can wear them together.
