It is often said that "God is in the details," and the "good" products that everyone is talking about reflect the attention to detail of their creators.

The capsule collection introduced here was co-created by Danner, a historic boot brand born in Portland, and "ULTRA HEAVY," a unit consisting of stylist Ken Ishikawa, artist Ryuji Kamiyama, and art director Jerry Ukai. The collection includes shoes, apparel, and goods. The lineup includes a variety of items such as shoes, apparel, and goods, all of which are said to be filled with special feelings.

You should check out this one-of-a-kind collection that combines the adult austerity expressed by "Danner" with the punk spirit of "Ultra Heavy" as soon as possible.

The brand's summer staple "MIZUGUMO" is now available in an updated version. The key design of the new version is a dazzling orange color with a pattern that covers the entire pair. The comfort sandal features a wider ground clearance and thicker form for stabilization.

POSTMAN UH ¥48,400
The POSTMAN, an indispensable product of Danner, has been made at Danner's authorized factory in Japan for more than 40 years. This plain toe model utilizes a traction sole without a heel, making it easy to maintain, and is simple enough to be worn on and off the foot. The engraving of both brands shines on the heel side of the upper.

Based on the "DANNER FIELD R" introduced in 2024, it comes with waterproof cow nubuck, 1000D nylon in the same color, and zipper parts for easy on/off. In addition to the all-weather specs with GORE-TEX material, the design is also enhanced by engraving the logo indicating both brands' tag team on the heel portion The sole is custom-colored with a custom-made insole. This project, initiated by Mr. Kamiyama, is a tribute to the late Mr. Ishikawa, a close friend and founding member of the unit. Each of the designs incorporates elements of free artwork and has a unique and underground feel.

I think it starts in the spring of 2023.
Time passed in a flurry after I talked to Mr. Ishikawa about Danner, and I started this project, which I had been keeping in a corner, little by little since the beginning of the year 2024.
As the amount of time that I could not see Mr. Ishikawa increased, my desire to somehow give shape to the project grew, and I think it was around the beginning of summer.
While suppressing my desire to talk as much as I missed at Mr. Ishikawa's house, the conversation between the two of us never stopped.
I just feel good about the design," he said, laughing, "I'm looking forward to it now that I've put Kamiyama in charge of it.
This smile is my treasure and I will never forget it...
Since then, I've been asking myself, "Will I be able to do a sample until the next time we meet?" Anyway, I found myself feeling impatient. I have done many projects as "ULTRA HEAVY" so far, but the person I wanted to show the most was there,
Mr. Ishikawa led me to UH.
By the time it was finished, it had already climbed far up into the sky.
I was the one who wanted to ask him to do the styling for the shoot, but he was the one in trouble."
I wanted to hear many more Ishikawa verses.
For me, this time, there was one more person who went to the sky far away from me, and yes, two of my favorite punks were gone, and I remembered the influences of these people from the middle of the project and switched my mind to expression.
