The first book of works by Ryu Mieino is a 512-page epic. An exhibition of his works will be held at Midori-so Gallery in Nakameguro to celebrate the release.

He has created numerous works with free and flexible ideas without being bound by stereotypes.Mieno RyuMr. Kurokawa is one of the most popular artists in Japan, with a large following in various fields. His graphics focusing on letters are particularly impressive, and he is one of the hottest artists with many fans in various fields.

Mieno Ryu
Born 1988 in Hyogo Prefecture, graduated from Kyoto Seika University in 2011 with a degree in graphic design. After graduating from university, began working as a freelance designer in Kyoto. He has been involved in graphic design in various fields, including the gallery "VOU｜Bar". Books he has participated in include "Sakuji Hyakkei" (Graphic-sha, 2019) and "Sakuji Sakuho" (Graphic-sha, 2021).

The contents of the book are categorized into five themes: "Design of Feel," "Deconstruction of Typefaces," "Floating Still Images," "Five Senses to Word Feeling," and "Tuning of Meaning. The 512 pages of the book are filled with a wide variety of works, all on interesting themes.

In honor of this, the exhibition will also feature Mieno's archive of past works, divided into five sections. Graphics carefully selected from a wide variety of posters, flyers, logos, and other items produced to date will decorate the space, and original T-shirts featuring the logo from the collection will be available for purchase.
