Wear what you like, do what you like. This is embodied in a special capsule collection, the first collaboration between Vans and Setinn.
First, please take a look at this visual.
The tennis brand "Set-In," which offers a wide range of products that combine the practicality and functionality required for play, has teamed up with "Vans," which has fans around the world, including skaters.
The concept of "playing tennis in skate shoes" in this collection was inspired by a video that director Shingo Arai saw as a child of skateboarding on a tennis court, and is the very embodiment of "Set-in's" cherished desire to "always wear your favorite clothes anywhere. The concept was inspired by a video of Shingo Arai skateboarding on a tennis court that he saw when he was a child.
The lineup includes footwear such as "Authentic," a classic Vans model, and "Speed," which was introduced as a skate line in the 1990s, as well as a wide range of apparel for everything from tennis to everyday use.
It may seem like an unexpected double, but that's exactly what it is. The sporty elements are scattered in a perfect balance, and even those who have never played tennis before can easily adopt the design.
Each shoe comes with a specially designed box and laces reminiscent of the green and racquet net. No detail has been overlooked.
The new product is scheduled to be released on August 9 (Sat.) at "set-in" stores, so please look forward to the release date. Please note that some stores may not carry the product.
And on the day of the launch, a one-day pop-up event will be held. Here, in addition to the sale of this collection, there will be a mini skate ramp and mini tennis games.
Please come and experience the chemical reaction between skateboarding and tennis proposed by both parties at the venue.
