Since 1960, the Japanese video game manufacturer SEGA has been developing and selling video game software that both adults and children find irresistible. The opening of its first flagship store at Shibuya Parco just the other day is still fresh in our minds, and to commemorate this event, a capsule collection with "Timberland" has been created.
The star of this collaboration is Sonic the Hedgehog from the popular "Sonic" game series, in which the speed-of-sound blue hedgehog runs around in all directions. As the game is popular among a wide range of people, the buzz is likely to be quite high.
The illustrations used for each item were specially drawn for this collection and may never be seen again. At the heart of the collection is a pair of Timberland's iconic "6-inch Premium Waterproof Boots" (also known as "Yellow Boots"), which boast a long history.

The illustration of Sonic wearing yellow boots is adorable, and the cobalt blue laces reminiscent of the character also play a role as an accent.
The limited edition model is only available in 30 pairs worldwide, so those who are interested should prepare themselves for a fierce competition.
And just like the shoes, T-shirts with illustrations on them are also available. The lineup includes short-sleeved and long-sleeved T-shirts, both of which are designed with the logos of the two teams, showing respect for each other.

Two colors are on standby: black with a frosted finish that gives the fabric a unique faded look by raising it, and vintage-like white with a half-rubber print. Although the number of each is limited to 50 pieces, they are more affordable than the yellow boots, so please be sure to take a look at these as well.
Sales will start on Saturday, August 9. Please note that the products will be sold only at the Shibuya PARCO store of "Timberland", so please be careful not to make a mistake.
