Jonathan Anderson has discovered new possibilities for fashion by fusing it with modern art. For his final collection for LOEWE, he chose Josef Albers.
He studied at the Bauhaus, and in his later years, the culmination of his life was "Homage to the Square". As the name suggests, he explored the theme of the square and its transient colors.

Jonathan used the bi-fold coin wallet, one of Loewe's most iconic wallets, as a canvas to depict his paintings. The technique of combining cut leather and ironing it into a smooth piece is known as leather intarsia.
The paints are as thin and flat as possible - Joseph's sense of beauty is reproduced quite correctly.
The material is napa calf. Compartments with 8 card slots and 2 large pockets for bills.
When the wallet is opened, the "LOEWE" logo and Albers' name signature line the lower left corner.
