Summer is for T-shirts. Children and adults, Japanese and Americans, everyone wears T-shirts in the summer. But because they are so commonplace, the fabric and silhouette should be comfortable. That is where "blankt" comes in. This T-shirt body brand debuted this spring. Although it is an up-and-coming brand, it has already been picked up by major boutiques and is now the focus of much attention. We have a lot to say about this and that, but first, we decided to have eight well-informed people actually try it on. For the third installment, we will introduce two groups of people who transcend the boundaries of their respective professions.

Please tell us about your daily clothing needs.
Kentaro: When I make goods for the store, I prioritize designs that I would be excited to wear, and the same is true when I choose my own clothes. The same goes for my personal clothing. I like to choose clothes with good-looking prints, short in length and wide in width, and comfortable to wear. The other thing is comfort. I used to play soccer, so I like to collect old uniforms and T-shirts.
Kotaro: I tend to wear black clothes when I am working. When I work on bicycles, I get dirty somehow with oil. On the other hand, I tend to wear white clothes that I can't wear to work, and I also like to wear something functional and not tiring.
What kind of T-shirts do you like?
Kentaro: I used to wear mostly plain T-shirts, but recently I have been into prints. I often wear our company's goods on a daily basis.
Yasutaro: I have almost no plain T-shirts, only printed ones. I like to wear T-shirts with sports teams and corporate logos, both new and used.
How do you feel about wearing a Blancto T-shirt?
Kentaro: I was surprised to hear that it is organic cotton, not polyester. It feels nice and smooth. Since I spend most of my time at the store, I want to make it easy to match.
Kotaro: I always carry a knapsack on my back when traveling by bicycle, and this T-shirt does not feel sticky even when sweating, giving the impression of being light and smooth. The size is comfortable and loose, even for a M. I wore it yesterday and washed it at night. I wore it yesterday and washed it at night, but it dried quickly without wrinkling that much. It looks good to wear simply with a bit of color or with a vest with pockets.
Please tell us about your recent work.
Kentaro: The strength of "ONO WHEEL" is that we "focus mainly on city-oriented bicycles, but we are ex-professionals who make them. We want to transcend various barriers as a store. Ultimately, we want to be recognized around the world just for our red and white coloring, like Supreme. The key color of our store is green, so I would be happy if the word "green" became "ONO WHEEL. In addition to the Harajuku store, I would like to visit other locations around the country to communicate with various people. Last year, we toured 10 locations throughout Japan, and this year we will be more energetic and aim for a world tour.
Kotaro: I used to be a cyclist, and I am good at it, so I hope to develop various projects with bicycles as the axis.
Finally, what would you like to do this summer?
Kentaro: I like saunas, so I would like to ride my bicycle to a sauna facility a little farther away and bring a "Blancto" T-shirt as a change of clothes! I'm aiming for the recently opened SAUNAS in Takanawa and the Shinagawa Sauna.
Kotaro: I would like to go to a mountain with a quiet atmosphere. I would like to go to a place where I can see stars rather than Karuizawa, or somewhere around Nagano. I just want to feel nature.

Please tell us about your daily clothing needs.
I value how to wear clean clothes and how to dress them up or down. To be honest, I am not the type of person who looks good in everything, and I am also the type of person who has been lost in the world of fashion. I have made a lot of mistakes in my shopping. It was no good matching tattered old clothes with designer clothes, or wearing designer clothes with a lot of flair.
Recently, I often select items with the same sense as women's wear, such as "this shape is cute," or "I like the drape. I match a well-tailored shirt with something cheap, or an obscure but highly sensitive T-shirt from a collective, or something chosen with my senses. I coordinate with such a sense of balance. I also put my innerwear in my pants seven days a week (laughs).
What kind of T-shirts do you like?
I like printed T-shirts, and I always wear them with a jacket or shirt open, so I choose them based on whether they have a print on the front or not. Depending on the print, it is nice to have a little nuance. The size has been getting more and more perfect year by year. I am not particular about colors, and I wear both old and new clothes.
How do you feel about wearing a Blancto T-shirt?
When I choose a plain T-shirt, I select one based on the feel and ounce when I put it on. To be honest, I don't like thick T-shirts because they are uncomfortable to wear, but "Blancto" has a good balance in that respect. If it were thinner than this, it would become innerwear. I am also glad that the ribs are not too open, because I don't feel embarrassed.
Ash gray is also favored by street fashion brands, but this gray is not that extreme, nor is it "too atmospheric, for better or worse," as seen in vintage clothing. This is just about right. Today's coordinate is all in gray, but the overall color is lightened by combining it with khaki items. I recommend adding a military bag so that it doesn't give off too much of a clean, urban atmosphere.
Please tell us about your recent work.
PR has a wide range of meanings, and I would like to create new opportunities by connecting various "things" within PR. I originally started my career in the fashion industry, but I would like to work on all aspects of food, clothing, and shelter without being bound by genre, and at the same time, I would like to do so from the perspective of the industry, not just in the context of fashion.
Finally, what would you like to do this summer?
I will be attending the "FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL" this summer for three days as a private participant, so I am looking forward to that! I have always wanted to see Tatsuro Yamashita live, so I definitely want to listen to him. (Interview conducted in late July)
