Photographer Sayo Nagase will hold a solo exhibition titled "CUT-OUT" starting September 23.
As the title suggests, this exhibition is a series of photographs of women frolicking in large sheets of paper, cut out geometrically using the "kiri-e" technique. At the same time as the exhibition, a portfolio (limited to 20 copies) and a paper version (limited to 300 copies) of "CUT-OUT" will be published.
Looking back, it was in June of this year that we introduced the release of her previous work "SPLITE" and the holding of a solo exhibition to commemorate it. The newly released works after a short period of only three months will show us a new side of Sayo Nagase. It is a must-see.
