Pepsi, famous for its cola, and Seiko 5 Sports have announced a joint project.
Two watches will be released. Both watches are limited to 7,000 pieces worldwide, with 500 pieces available in Japan.
Based on the heritage design of the Seiko 5 Sport, the watch was inspired by the Pepsi brand logos of the 1990s and today.
The first is a watch with a motif of the Pepsi logo from the 1990s, with its distinctive blue, white, and red coloring. In fact, Seiko at the time had a wristwatch with a blue and red bezel reminiscent of Pepsi.
This watch retains the retro feel of the past, but has been updated to fit the modern age. The 38mm case fits a variety of wrists and features the Pepsi logo from the 1990s at the 6 o'clock position on the dial.
The second, featuring Pepsi's latest logo, has a GMT function and a modern black finish. The case measures 42 mm and has a silicon strap with the word "PEPSI" and the logo.
Both watches have see-through case backs. Each model is designed with the Pepsi logo as its motif. The "LIMITED EDITION" and the serial number are also important points.
Moreover, it comes with a special box that looks like a can, which is unique to the limited edition model.
The two attractive collector's items will go on sale starting Friday, September 5.For more information, please visit the official Seiko 5 Sports website.
