JACKET by YUTASETOGAWA, one-of-a-kind jackets tailored from deadstock fabrics, will be dropping soon.

A brand specializing in jackets with a name that is so anonymous that you can't help but notice it. It is "JACKET" by Tetsuaki Miyamoto.

Our carefully tailored jackets have a classical and mature elegance, and can be worn in a wide range of styles from casual to formal attire. They have a comfortable tension that is not overbearing, but at the same time makes you stand up a little straighter.

The brand's new attempt is ( Save ), which rescues discarded materials and forgotten objects. The brand has partnered with YUTASETOGAWA, a brand created by designer Yuta Setogawa, who has been working based on the same concept, to launch expressive jackets made from dead stock fabrics.

The lineup includes a special series using fabrics that are difficult to procure, and a remake series with pins attached and damage work.

Both designs are based on the original and powerful ideas of "Yuta Setogawa," which Mr. Miyamoto is in love with, and are a projection of the individuality of both designers.

We will begin by looking at the special series, which will be released in a limited edition of four pieces.

COTTON PIQUE DOCTOR JACKET ¥93,500
Color:BEIGE
Size: 1, 2, 3 (S, M, L equivalent)
Made to order, limited to 4 pieces

A veteran Japanese tailor is in charge of the entire process, and the careful round-stitch tailoring is a major feature of this work. The French cotton piqué, reminiscent of the cotton duck often seen in workwear of yesteryear, the beautiful green cotton lining, and the metal buttons scattered throughout the details are all from dead stock that was on the verge of being discarded, which is also a point not to be overlooked.

By designing the iconic breast pocket tags used on Yuta Setogawa products, as well as the arm and elbow patches and leather accessories, we were able to create a special jacket that falls somewhere between vintage and current, and is only available in four pieces worldwide.

Next is a remake series of Jacket's classic cotton calzé fabric models, which have been reconstructed.

YS REMAKE COTTON KERSEY JACKET ¥104,500
Color:BLACK
Size:0 (equivalent to XS)

YS REMAKE COTTON KERSEY JACKET ¥99,000
Color:BROWN
Size: 1 (equivalent to S)

YS REMAKE COTTON KERSEY JACKET ¥96,800
Color:GREEN
Size: 1 (equivalent to S)

YS REMAKE COTTON KERSEY JACKET ¥88,000
Color:NAVY
Size: 4S (equivalent to XL)

Four pieces are available in black, brown, green, and navy, and surprisingly, all are one-of-a-kind (initial sales are for four pieces of one size in each color, after which they will be made to order). The damage work done by hand by Mr. Setogawa and at the domestic factory respectively adds depth to the design, and vintage European pins that go well with each body color are placed for outstanding impact.

The leather secured with studs is a surplus part from the production of other products, and this is another example of modern manufacturing under the SDGs that eliminates waste.

All of them will be available for purchase starting with a pop-up store at BLANDET Tokyo, a showroom and store located in Jingumae, on September 27 (Sat). The early bird gets the worm, so if you are considering purchasing one, it would be a good idea to visit the store as soon as possible.

Be sure to keep an eye on the challenge of "Jacket" as it moves into the next phase of its development.
