We visited the new Descente store that opened in Sapporo! We report on the reception, which was a great success, as well as visitor snaps.

DESCENTE opened its second directly-managed store in Sapporo on the basement floor of HULIC SQUARE SAPPORO.

The new store will feature a variety of categories including MIZUSAWA DOWN, ALLTERRAIN 81, ALLTERRAIN I/O, TRAINING, and GOLF in a futuristic and spacy space.

In this issue, we report on the pre-opening event held on the occasion of the opening.

The event, held exclusively for "CLUB DESCENTE" members, was crowded with DESCENTE fans who were able to shop at the new store one step ahead of others.

The center of attention was the "Mizusawa Down Hulic Sapporo Model," which stood proudly in the center of the entrance. The dark gray color was inspired by the color of the Sapporo landscape, and the reflective material used for the side pocket switch and the spirit mark on the sleeves gave it a special look that captivated many fans.

Various types of catering were also prepared on the day of the event. The event seemed to be a glamorous celebration of new beginnings.

At the venue, I saw such and such people that I often see on social networking sites.

We immediately asked them to mix and match items from the new store with their personal outfits.

What is your impression of the new Descente store?

Modern. It gives the impression of reflecting the functional background of [Descente]. It is a sophisticated and clear store that conveys a world view.

What did you think of the Descente items you wore?

Down is highly functional yet very lightweight. It will work well in the city and outdoors. The shoes have a strong fit and are easy to walk in. The fashionable look is also nice.

What is the point of coordination?

The Sapporo model of Mizusawa Down fits perfectly with my everyday coordinate. I tried to put it together in a sleek and clean way, while still giving it a sophisticated, city feel.

The display is very cool. HULIC SQUARE SAPPORO is a new building, and I have a feeling that many people will come here in the future.

What did you think of the Descente items you wore?

In down, it's great that it's lightweight with excellent thermal protection. I was surprised at how lightweight the shoes are, too. They are easy to put on and take off, and I think they will be very useful.

What is the point of coordination?

The overall tone was kept low. The gray of the outerwear was inspired by the colors of the Sapporo landscape.

I thought the exquisite dullness of the light blue was very nice. The shoes also have a nice color scheme anyway. But the comfort is also perfect. Cushioned and resilient.

I usually wear monotone, so I used the light blue of the shell as a color scheme. The orange of the shoes also works well.
