Do not be too quick to assume that because the clothes are inspired by movies, the clothes worn by the characters have been recreated in the present day. Of course, the clothes are based on specific works and characters, but we have taken the liberty to incorporate them into the clothes.

There are many movies to choose from, but we will focus on American films from the 1960s and 1970s. First, we created a mood board, recalling the styles of Columbo in "Columbo," George Peppard in "Breakfast at Tiffany's," Diane Keaton in "Annie Hall," and so on. Then we created the items based on the scene beyond the clothes and the pure character that lives there.

For example, the "PETER" trench coat in water-repellent gabardine twill was inspired by the typical silhouette of "Studio Nicholson," and the check pattern peeking out from the back was taken from the Ivy fashion favored by "Beams Plus.

The "PAUL" sports blazer and "ALVY" double-pleated pants set-up are also created in two patterns: ultra-dense tropical wool and supple corduroy. The loose-fitting pants are also available in a resilient and durable cotton twill type.

Other items include "LISA" shirts featuring oversized and innovative cutting, "HOLLY" wide-leg denim pants slowly woven on a custom-made shuttle loom in Okayama, a denim production area, and "GOLIGHTLY" athletic crewnecks made of extremely soft cotton loop back fabric. GOLIGHTLY," etc. The collection is a synthesis of the technologies cultivated by the two companies to date, and aims for even greater heights.

There have been many examples of designers who are movie fans creating clothing that pays homage to movies, but this is a very modest and loving collection that sets itself apart from them.
