Ben Davis" is well-known for its iconic gorilla. This year marks the 90th anniversary of the company's founding, and the company continues to produce sturdy workwear.

To commemorate this anniversary year, a special capsule collection was presented together with fashion curator Motofumi Ogi (POGGY), who has been a regular customer of "Ben Davis".

Based on the cultural background of "Ben Davis," which was supported by many musicians including rappers in the 1990s, POGGY's lineup is a mashup of workwear and dresses with a rich individuality.

Let's start with the campaign visual, which pays homage to the snap pages of magazines from the 90s and early 2000s.

The design of the street snapshots is reminiscent of those days, and may evoke a sense of nostalgia. In addition to Mr. Poggy, the models are Michihiko Kurihara of "Mr. Clean," Takayuki Fujii, designer of "Non-native," Yoshihiro Nakane, Japan director of "Noah," and Ryota Yamada, stylist, all of whom were frequently seen in the snapshots of those days.

The reason why the images were made rough for the campaign visuals was to express the texture of the magazines of the time. This unique attention to detail shows the character of POGGY.
