The theme of the "black market" isCOMME des GARÇONThe "blackmarket" is a guerrilla store by "blackmarket". The store opened at GYRE, a commercial facility in Omotesando, Tokyo, in March of this year and attracted a great deal of attention, with customers lining up every day during the month-long opening period.
This "blackmarket" has been held at Umeda Hankyu in Osaka since September. Noteworthy is the product lineup, which includes reissues of past masterpieces such as the sweater with holes that became synonymous with Comme des Garcons in the 1980s when the brand was ridiculed as "Volokh" and T-shirts from the 1991 autumn/winter collection with the theme of "CHICPUNK," as well as collaborative items such as Alpha's MA-1, Lewis Leather's riders' jackets, and Porter's tankers. The collection also features items only available at "blackmarket," such as MA-1s from Alpha, riders' jackets from Lewis Leather, and tankers from Porter.
