I am sure many of you have imitated the clothes of the main characters in movies. How about this?
Luxury eyewear brand from Los AngelesOliver Peopleshas partnered with the critically acclaimed film "The Corda's Phoenicia Project" (directed by Wes Anderson) to create a custom-made pair of sunglasses.
The film takes place in 1950s Europe, in "modern-day Phoenicia," a large independent country. The main character is The Corda, a wealthy man who survived six assassination attempts, played by Benicio del Toro. While struggling with the "Phoenicia Project," a huge project to improve Phoenicia's infrastructure, he embarks on a journey with his only daughter, Liesl, in order to raise funds and promote the project.
The custom-made sunglasses are worn by The The Corda in the play. Handmade in Italy, these bold upswept sunglasses have dark mahogany frames with true brown lenses for a dandy look. The universal fit nose pads allow both Westerners and Japanese to wear them comfortably.
The custom-made sunglasses are also available in a limited production run. Only 10 pieces are available worldwide, which is a super premium.
Along with the serial number, "ANDERSON / DEL TORO" and the logo of the film are engraved on the temples, and a special case, cleaning cloth, and special box are also included. The special box is said to be inspired by vintage props that play an important role in the film, so we hope you will enjoy it along with the movie.
Only one of this rare limited edition model is available in Japan, and it is already on sale at Oliver Peoples Tokyo Marunouchi. If you are interested, please visit the store.
