A special day at 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa. PRESENTATION - VOL.2", a one-night-only event where art and music meet.

PRESENTATION - VOL.2," an event in which art and music intersect, will be held on November 15 (Sat) in conjunction with the "SIDE CORE｜Living road, Living space" solo exhibition currently being held at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa.

This is an attempt to redefine the art museum as a place where new expressions are born, rather than just a place for exhibitions. The venue is "Theater 21" on the first basement floor of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa. In a space that is neither a live music club nor a regular gallery, artists will give experimental and improvisational presentations.

Curated by the Tokyo-based Somewhere in Tokyo. Since the pandemic, they are adults who know how to play, having developed free parties, secret live shows, and art events that tour the city, using the urban space itself as a stage.

They will be joined by VIDEOTAPEMUSIC, a musician also known as a video director, and YPY, a solo project by Hino Koshiro, a musician with a cult following in Japan and abroad. In addition, a sound system by K-Array, a speaker brand from Florence, Italy, will be installed, and sound engineer grayfield will be in charge of the scenography. The official bar will be "human nature," a natural wine specialty restaurant in Nihonbashi Kabuto-cho, adding color to this special night.

The boundaries between exhibitions and live performances, art and everyday life will blur at this event. These experimental attempts are also a chance to gain various inspirations. Please visit the venue. An exciting experience awaits you there.
