Painter/artist Masahiro Akutagawa as MHAK creates mainly wall paintings based on the theme of "coexistence with living space," in which paintings are considered as part of the interior.
His solo exhibition will be held for the first time in 10 years. The venue is "GALLERY TARGET" in Shibuya.
In this solo exhibition based on the concept of "C.W.L. (Coexistence with life)," the historical pattern of camouflage is redefined as "a structure of overlapping living things," rather than a device for concealment. In the 10 years since his last solo exhibition, Masahiro Akutagawa as MHAK has deepened his thinking based on "line," and this series marks a clear turning point in his work.
