Before noon yesterday, I saw a line of people waiting in front of the Comme des Garcons Aoyama store. When I observed it, wondering what the launch was about, the first thing that caught my eye was the facade painted in yellow. Then, looking around the entrance area, I saw sneakers and clothes lined up on fixtures of the same color there.
This was actually a pop-up store for Onitsuka Tiger.
COMME des GARÇONS' annual holiday campaign is based on various themes, and this year's keyword is "HOLIDAYS WITH Onitsuka Tiger.
The first items of note here are four types of sneakers. Comme des Garçons has given a new twist to Onitsuka Tiger's "MEXICO 66," which is said to be an eternal standard.
