“MARNI” and “PORTERThe EXPLORER COLLECTION is a collaborative collection by the two companies. Up until now, the collection has released light and color-conscious items that do not betray the expectations of fans of the two groups.
This is the tenth collection since the first one was released at Christmas 2013. The milestone "EXPLORER COLLECTION," as the name suggests, represents an exploration into the future, a renewal from past collections, and a determination to embark on a new journey.

This new collection is a cross between the masterpieces of both brands, especially in pursuit of the possibilities of materials. The nylon oxford used in this collection is said to be difficult to print with a high degree of precision due to its highly uneven surface texture. The ability to print the intricate plaid patterns and vivid colors typical of Maruni was made possible by Japanese craftsmen, whose printing techniques are among the most advanced in the world. This collection was only possible because of the collaboration with Porter.

Porter's bags are coated with a colorless, transparent acrylic coating called "anti-fraying" on the underside of the fabric to maintain its strength. This time, the acrylic has been tinted to make it look like a lining. The structure is beautifully sublimated as a part of the design.
Francisco Risso, the new creative director of , loves backpacks. The 10th series of the commemorative collection is available from today.
