Biotope's first special order for Paraboot. The oldest model, Modine, is updated with a modern and simple look.

The MICHAEL is a classic Paraboot model, but did you know about its predecessor?

The oldest model in the current Paraboot lineup is the "Morzine," a historic pair that has been produced since the 1930s.

BIOTOP" has recently ordered a special edition of such "mozine". Pre-orders are being accepted from today in advance of its release on January 9, 2026 (Friday).

One of the features of the "mogene" is the three stitches placed on the heel. This is a remnant of the reinforcement leather that used to be applied to the heel area, as the heel area was subjected to a greater load when climbing on slopes.

This pair has been specially ordered with the image of "clean work shoes" while keeping such iconic details. The overall look has been changed from the country appearance of the original to a more modern and simple look.

The original used a lot of white stitching, but in the special order, the stitching has been changed to all black. The color of the lining and insole has also been changed from natural to all black.

The welt has been changed from square to straight. The moccasin piping has been changed from smooth leather to glass leather for a more elegant appearance. In addition, the thickness of the midsole has been adjusted from 3mm to 5mm in order to add a sense of weight. This is a pair of shoes that has been carefully crafted down to the smallest detail.
