Designer Paul Smith was born in Nottingham, England in 1946. He has always been known for his love of bicycles, even as a child, and once trained hard to become a racer. However, an unfortunate accident at the age of 17 forced him to give up the path to become a racer.
Paul Smith's passion for bicycles is now available in a new book, PAUL SMITH'S CYCLING SCRAPBOOK. Paul's love affair with bicycles, which has continued since his childhood, is presented along with more than 400 visuals from his own collection, including photographs, illustrations, cycling jerseys, and catalogs from the '50s and '60s. The book was published in May of this year by the British publisher Thames & Hudson. It will now be available in Japan.
